Backstage Karen Angle Injury Update, TNA/New York Shows, More

Karen Angle’s ankle injury occurred after the in-ring interview segment that aired last night. What happened is that she hopped off of the ring apron instead of taking the steps, and with her wearing those hard high heel shoes, she landed badly and broke her ankle. The break in her ankle was at the upper most part of the ankle which connects to the leg. There is no word on how long she will be out, but it probably won’t be too long if she even has to miss any time. The injury occurred over three weeks ago, so that gave her a lot of time to heal. Also, last week’s main event featuring Angle & Roode vs. Booker & Christian was taped after the in-ring interview segment that aired last night, and that explains why she didn’t come out with Kurt for the match last week.
