Friday night’s edition of Smackdown scored a 2.9 fast national rating.

WWE returns to doing live house shows on Wednesday. The Raw crew will be at the Sommet Center in Nashville, TN and the Smackdown/ECW crew invades the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.

From Pamela Barnett: To follow up on your report that Silas Young has signed a WWE developmental deal and will report to Ohio Valley Wrestling. Young has already made his debut in OVW. He wrestled James Curtis at the 12/5 TV taping show.

From Michael Stalcup: To report, Apparently I uncovered in my hometown in KY, that Best Buy and Wal-Mart have released “WWE’s The Best of RAW 15th Anniversary” 3-Disc Set early, as it was schedule to release on December 26th. Best Buy has it tagged for $19.99. However Wal-Mart has it priced for $19.96, and it does include a bonus 4th disc, the entire 1st episode of Monday Night Raw from January 11, 1993. Also both Best Buy and Wal-Mart released the Survivor Series 2007 DVD early. Best Buy for $19.99 and Wal-Mart for $15.98. The bonus feature included on this DVD is the 2nd Coming of Chris Jericho segement from Raw on November 19, 2007. Chances are however, you’ll get this one cheaper at K-Mart as they usually sell all WWE PPV’s for $14.99.
