WWE Stars In Iraq Helicopter Accident?, Elimination Chamber

There was another incident involving aircraft and WWE talent that occurred while the company was in Iraq for the Tribute to the Troops show. According to Dave Meltzer, a helicopter carrying Dean Malenko, Mickie James, Carlito, Chris Jericho, JBL, and Ron Simmons was damaged while landing. This left the superstars stranded in an unsecure location in Tarmiyah, Iraq where they were in the middle of a war zone that featured fires, smoke, dead animals, and razor wire.

As we have been reporting, local advertisements are promoting an Elimination Chamber match with the winner getting a WrestleMania title shot at WWEâs No Way Out pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Nevada this February. Apparently the winner of the Royal Rumble will pick which champion that he faces at WrsetleMania while the winner of the Elimination Chamber will get the other one. The plan when the advertisements were written was for Chris Jericho to not be in the championship picture.

WWE is talking about doing another roster draft in 2008 after WrestleMania. According to once source WWE will focus mainly on WrestleMania before getting ideas together for roster changes.
