The RAW Returns Last Night, Orton vs. Hardy, SD!

Jared Wood sent this in: During last nights RAW 15th Anniversary Show in the Syracuse area they were advertising an upcoming Raw House Show at the Syracuse War Memorial on Jan 18. The main event announced was Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship. As always the card is subject to change so take it for what it’s worth.

TNA and Ring of Honor will be running shows head-to-head in the same area on January 25. ROH will be running a show at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, OH, while TNA will be running an event at the Hobart Arena in Troy, OH (which is a northern suburb of Dayton).

For those that have asked, all of the appearances on last nightâs RAW were done as a onetime thing. Obviously anyone that appeared is on good terms with WWE so there is always a chance for a return on down the line, but the performers that made returns worked on a one show basis.

Last weekâs edition of Friday Night SmackDown did a 2.6 broadcast rating according to data compiled by Nielson Media Research. AM RAW on Saturday did a 0.7 cable rating.

Dave Scherer of the Professional Wrestling Insider is reporting that WWE is looking to start another magazine. The company has posted a job listing for the senior editor on their corporate web site. Here is the description: “World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. is seeking someone to be a part of a magazine launch, sister magazine to flagship WWE magazine with a readership of 4.5 million. Candidate should have a strong knowledge of children based subject material. Wrestling knowledge is also a plus. An ability to write and top-edit stories is a must. Brainstorm clever creative pieces, front-of-book items and features while bringing fresh ideas to the role.”
