TNA In Talks With Top MMA Star, Nattie Neidhart/WWE



The Sun out of England has a new article up today on controversial musician Amy Winehouse, who’s famous for the “Rehab” song. Amy says she is a huge professional wrestling fan. Her favorite wrestlers were Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam. Amy once met Jericho and wouldn’t stop bragging about it to friends. A pal said: âAmy was so excited about meeting him, she wouldnât stop talking about it. She was much more excited to meet a wrestler than any musician. And she used to go crazy whenever Rob was on TV. He was her favorite.â

The THQ chief financial officer for publishers of the WWE SmackDown vs. RAW series, Edward Zinser, recently announced his resignation from the company after a net loss of seven million dollars in 2007.

Nattie Neidhart worked a match at a SmackDown/ECW house show on Saturday night. She teamed up with Victoria to take on Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool. Torrie rolled up Victoria for the win.

Other shows being broadcast on WWE 24/7 during the month of December include the WWE Championship DVD that was released last year, Armageddon 2003, WCW Starrcade 1998, the 12/21/92 edition of Prime Time Wrestling, and last year’s Tribute to the Troops show, among others.

The major international star that TNA has been in talks with is “The Beast” Bob Sapp. Sapp has done MMA work and wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He was also featured in the The Longest Yard remake.
