80’s Star Passes Away, Orton/Y2J Match, Matt Hardy

  • Details are sketchy, but I have been told that 80’s wrestling star The Angel of Death was found dead in his hometown of Arlington, TX. The Angel of Death wrestled for World Class Championship Wrestling and the Universal Wrestling Federation, among others, in the 80’s and early 90’s.
  • Matt Hardy’s latest Myspace.com blog is the 3rd most popular on the site.
  • Gamespot.com has posted their reviews of Smackdown vs Raw 08 for the Wii and DS. The DS version was rated a 6.5 while the Wii version was rated a very poor 4.5.
  • After a net loss of 7 million dollars in 2007, THQ (Publishers of the Smackdown vs Raw series) chief financial officer Edward Zinser has announced his resignation.
  • WWE has released the footage where WWE Champion Randy Orton accepts Chris Jericho after RAW went off the air last night. You can view it at WWE.com where they are heavily promoting Orton vs. Jericho for the WWE Championship at next monthâs Armageddon pay-per-view.
