During a Sunday night conversation on Live Audio Wrestling, former WCW and WWF superstar Sid Vicious confirmed rumors that he is hoping for a return to World Wrestling Entertainment. Vicious, 47, said he had been in talks with Vince McMahon. “We have been talking for awhile now, and we are trying to get things worked out.” When asked about TNA, Vicious said the company is unable to help him reach his many goals including wrestling in front of 80,000 fans again.

The Detroit Free Press is reporting the results from a Toronto consulting firm that WrestleMania 23 brought in an estimated $29.7 million in the city with an estimated $4.7 million in tax revenue for federal, state and local governments.

Edge will face Batista at tonightâ<80><99>s SmackDown tapings for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a match that will air on this weekâ<80><99>s edition of Friday Night SmackDown. As I noted yesterday, it wouldn’t shock me to see Edge take the title tonight. We’ll have live coverage here on the site beginning at around 8EST.
