Lex Luger Still In Hospital & Paralyzed, Bischoff Update

Ryan Clark

— Lex Luger was finally transferred from California to an Atlanta area hospital last week. Unfortunately for Luger, he still has not regained the use of his arms or legs after suffering what is thought to have been a “spinal stroke” while on the west coast to attend an autograph convention four weeks ago. Before he was left in paraplegic state, Luger was scheduled to have hip replacement surgery last week and had been told by doctors that they were amazed he was able to walk given the deteriorating condition of both of his hips.

— According to IMDB.com, Hulk Hogan has been cast to appear in Scary Movie 5, which is scheduled to be released in 2008. Though it should be noted that he is listed as “rumored.” Other celebrities apparently taking part in the movie include Leslie Nielsen, Marlon Wayans, Alyson Michalka and Simon Rex.

— Jason Hervey and Eric Bischoff, creators and executive producers of VH1’s Scott Baio Is 45 … and Single, will be producing another reality show through their Bischoff Hervey Entertainment production company. The dynamic duo will be developing a four-episode reality show that follows country music star Billy Ray Cyrus as he attempts to balance his life as a musician and a family man. Cyrus is the father of Miley Cyrus, with whom he co-stars on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. Miley will be appearing on the show as well. The show is called Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last and it will be broadcast on CMT.
