Karen Angle recently signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling to be featured as a “Knockout” (TNA’s version of “Divas”). Last week we reported that in an effort to push Karen as one of the top women in the company, TNA’s official website had done a photoshoot with Karen. They posted a preview picture and said to check back soon for the entire photo shoot. All 10 pictures from that photo shoot are now online.
While Stingâs TNA contract is expiring at the end of the year, the chances of him ending up in WWE are not very good. Sting has had the chance to sign a deal with WWE for several years now and has never been able to agree on a contract. One of the main reasons that Sting is reluctant to sign with WWE is the fact that he does not want to have to go on the road so much and that is what has made TNA so attractive to him.
This past weekend, some of TNA Wrestling’s top stars appeared on a wrestling card in Japan. A huge crowd of over 14,000 fans packed the the Budokan arena to see Japanese legend Mitsuharu Misawa successfully defended his title against Samoa Joe. Misawa beat Joe after 17 minutes with an elbow smash to the back of the head. Also on that card, recently signed TNA star D-Lo Brown & his tag partner [former WWE star] Buchanan lost their tag titles in their first defense against the team of Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura.
