This past Fridayâ<80><99>s edition of SmackDown did a 2.9 fast national rating which is up from recent weeks. Look for the final number to be out sometime later this week, possibly as early as later today.

The following matches have been confirmed by WWE for their upcoming No Mercy pay-per-view:

– Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay

– Triple H vs. Umaga

– WWE Champion John Cena vs. Randy Orton

– World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. The Great Khali

Jim Ross was on the sidelines at the Oklahoma Sooners football game again this weekend. Speaking of wrestling personalities at football games, The Nature Boy Ric Flair was on the sidelines at the University of South Carolina football game on Saturday, decked out in team colors. Flair was spotted doing his â<80><9c>Whoosâ<80> as the television announcers put him over and said that he was good friends with the head ball coach Steve Spurrier. The Charleston newspaper picked up on it, calling Flair a retired professional wrestler.
