WWE Releases Coming Soon?, Holly/RAW, Cena/Orton

Mike sent word that while Hardcore Holly made his return to Raw this past Monday night, he did wrestle at the tapings last week in Nashville working the Heat tapings. Since that show no

ly gets any publicity by WWE itself online, it slipped my mind.

Nathan S. sent these live notes in from Raw on Monday: The Highlanders were also winners for the Heat Tapings. There were many signs taken away last night, most notably âGot Booker❠and âRetest Kennedy.❠The saddest one was by probably an 8 year old boy who had a 8.5 x 11 inch drawing of the Undertaker with some writing on it, far too small to readâ¦have no idea why they felt the need to take that one. Very mixed reaction for Cena, but loud nevertheless. Huge pop for McMahon when first coming out, but plenty of heat once cutting his promos and his match. Biggest pops were HHH, Jeff Hardy and Hornswoggle. Most heat: Coach, and no one even close. The promo that some speculate may be for Y2J had no clear audio at the arena, and those around us just thought it was a technical problem for a promo showing during the television commercial break.

Anthony Mogannam sent word about a commercial still running for No Mercy promoting John Cena vs. Randy Orton and Batista vs. The Undertaker. I’ve seen the commercial as well as it appears the company had different plans before going with Batista vs. Khali instead.

Justin sent this in: This is Justin from Australia again, sending you word that the supposed ‘Jericho return video’ did NOT air over here in Australia. After the Coachman ‘press conference’, Raw cut straight to an ad and returned, with the video not seen. This can occasionally happen, although I can’t find a reason as to why it wouldn’t have been shown. I could be wrong, but I am fairly certain that the video was meant to air after the Coach segment. We get Raw on Foxtel over here on a Wednesday (a day after Raw is shown in the US), but I doubt it was their decision to remove the video from the programming. I don’t know if anyone else pointed this out, but it seems fairly big news from my perspective.

As noted earlier, Ty Bailey is expected to be Mike “Simon Dean” Bucci’s official replacement in the WWE’s Talent Relations department heading up the developmental division. There is reportedly some fear among developmental talents that some releases could be coming with a new person taking over their careers.

And once again for the people who may have missed my note earlier, PLEASE no more emails on Chris Jericho and the Jeri-code. We’ll just need to let it play out. Everyone has their opinions and there is really no way of telling until they add more to the video next week and the weeks following. My email box has just been slammed minute after minute with Jericho emails for the past two days. I try to respond to all emails but have had trouble doing so with the constant flow of Jericho mails.
