Is Y2J Returning To WWE?, Lyndy Comments On WWE Release

Friday Night Smackdown! last week – headlined by the Teddy Long and Kristal wedding – pulled a 2.7 rating, up from the usual low 2’s the show has been doing lately. AM RAW did a 0.5 on Sunday early morning.

As noted late last night, 25 year old Lyndy Frieson from Vancouver, BC., was eliminated from the WWE Diva Search competition yesterday, the second one who was voted off this year. Last Sunday, Frieson posted a message on her MySpace thanking everyone for the support during the Diva Search and that she couldn’t reply to everyone’s comments due to her training and WWE. Earlier this year Frieson was the runner up in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Queen competition and also won Miss Vancouver.

Chris Jericho is known for “stirring the pot” when it comes to playing mind games with fans of the pro wrestling industry. Today, Chris Jericho has done it again. The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n Rollah updated his official MySpace page. The new headline on his page says: “I’m coming back!!” We’ve reported here for weeks that Chris Jericho has been in talks with WWE about returning to the company. Things heated up after Jericho appeared on Larry King Live with WWE Champion John Cena following the Benoit family tragedy. With the debut of the “SAVE_US.222” video last night on RAW and now Jericho’s MySpace update, the rumor mill is running rampant with talk that the cryptic video is for Jericho.

For those who have asked for my personal opinion, I do believe it is the return of Y2J.
