WWE Star Misses Super Important Flight, Angle Innocent?

When the Signature Pharmacy drug scandal story broke out, all of the wrestlers that came up on the list from the media were ordered to report to Titan Towers in Stamford, CT to talk about their dealings with the pharmacy with WWE officials. It was reported that one of the wrestlers on the list missed his flight to Stamford. We can report that the wrestler who missed his flight was Chris Masters. Masters got added heat from management for missing his flight, thus not having a face-to-face meeting when WWE’s announcement regarding the suspensions broke out.

TNA wrestler Kurt Angle’s name turned up in the wrestling drug scandal because Sports Illustrated writer Luis Fernando Llosa told ESPN that Angle was a part of his investigation. However, Llosa’s remarks regarding Angle were misinterpreted. He was actually talking about an investigation earlier in the year on a different pharmacy, the Applied Pharmacy Services based out of Mobile, Alabama. There are currently no records of Kurt Angle, or any other wrestler on the TNA roster for that matter in regards to receiving packages from Signature Pharmacy.
