As we have been reporting all week, TNA has been teasing via their mobile service that they will be making a major announcement at tomorrow’s No Surrender pay-per-view and that they have been negotiating a deal with a “former World champion.”
It wouldn’t be surprising if the announcement is that iMPACT will be moving to two hours on Thursday nights starting this October. According to several sources the deal is complete and the announcement is forthcoming, so tomorrow’s pay-per-view would be perfect timing.
As for the “former World champion” announcement, rumors have been going around that the company has been trying to finalize a talent acquisition over the last several days, but like with Kurt Angle, everything is being kept secret.
