Next week’s Raw, Smackdown and ECW will be on a delay. As the Raw roster is scheduled to take off on an African tour after the holiday, RAW will be taped Sunday night in Columbus to air Monday. Meanwhile, to reduce problems with logistics, ECW for 9/4 and Smackdown for 9/7 will be taped Saturday night in Cincinnati. This means ECW will run on a three day delay and Smackdown on a six day delay.

Manny Arrora, Dr. Phil Astin’s attorney, filed a motion yesterday asking the United States District Court in Georgia to grant him more time to go over an additional 81 pages of material authorities have provided in the criminal case against Astin involving Chris Benoit. The initial discovery filed by investigators against Astin was 210 pages. Astin has been charged with several counts of illegally dispersing medication to clients. None of the current indictments against him are directly linked to the death of Chris Benoit, although the patients in question do include current and former WWE stars.
