Indy superstar Matt Sydal is quickly becoming the hottest free agent on the independent scene. Sydal had in-ring tryouts with WWE during the week of the Benoit family tragedy and was going to work for TNA but had has his appearances cancelled because of conflicts with his touring schedule with Dragon’s Gate in Japan.
ECW head writer Dave Lagana is pushing for Sydal to be signed and put on the ECW brand.
WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio attended the âMilitary Appreciation Dayâ festivities last week at Marne Corps Air Station in Miramar, California where 1,500 leathernecks and sailors enjoyed free food and fun including fun WWE action figure prizes from JAKKS.
