Shawn Michaels had knee surgery on 5/23. WWE.com didn’t report the surgery because the storyline is that he has had had too many concussions and “needs to retire.” There isn’t an estimated return date for him, but the company is under the impression that he can make it to the Survivor Series in late November.

Gregory Helms had surgery for two cracked vertebrae in his neck on 5/21. He is targeting April of next year for his return.

It looks like Lilian Garcia is going to be out during the entire month of June. ECW ring announcer Justin Roberts has updated his WWE schedule on his MySpace page, and it says that he’ll be doing the ring announcing on Raw through the 6/25 show, the night after Vengeance. Of course, things can always change at a moment’s notice if Lilian suddenly felt that she was well enough to go back on the road.
