Hulk Hogan/Big Show Tonight, RAW, Austin, More

Hulk Hogan appeared on the Drake and Zeke Morning Show in Memphis today to promote the Memphis Wrestling show tonight. Hogan talked about how many young fans now only know him from his VH1 show, not wrestling, and how he is using that as motivation tonight. He again explained how he was scheduled to headline WrestleMania 23 in a recreation of his classic WrestleMania 3 match with Andre the Giant, but that Vince McMahon wouldn’t agree to make him the highest paid wrestler on the show so it didn’t work out. He said he never thought that Vince would take things personally and go after him like he has in regards to the Memphis Wrestling show. He also mentioned how if tonight’s show does well, he might consider making similar shows into a tour.

AintItCool.com has an interview up with Steve Austin, mostly about The Condemned. In the interview, Austin also says that if he wanted to still be a top wrestling star in WWE, he could, but it’s not something he wants to do because he wants to be healthy 10-15 years from now and wants to focus on the movie business now.

The new Timbaland music video featuring WWE Divas will air on RAW on 5/21.
