Dr. Tom Prichard has been hired by World Wrestling Entertainment as the new head trainer of the company’s Deep South Wrestling developmental territory in Georgia. Bill DeMott, the former head trainer at Deep South, was released by the company this past weekend.
Prichard was last with WWE in 2004 when he was let go after a changeover of sorts took place internally within the company when John Laurinaitis replaced Jim Ross as the new head of WWE’s Talent Relations. Since leaving WWE, Prichard has been a regular on the independent scene and had held a number of training seminars across the United States.
