Lashley-WWE, New ECW Signing, Matthews-WWE Status

WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley discussed his career and working for WWE with The Kalamazoo Gazette to promote WWE’s return to the area this Sunday. Lashley praised Chris Benoit, Arn Anderson, and Ricky Steamboat for helping him improve.

Dewey Larson who signed with WWE to play an ECW role has written a column on the Fusion Pro Wrestling website discussing his signing with the new ECW. Larson writes that he’ll be involved from a production standpoint, not inside the ring (yet). A previous release from the company announced he would be refereeing.

WWE has released a Ted DiBiase T-shirt.

For those wondering, Josh Matthews is still with WWE. He is scheduled to be involved with a new mobile news service that WWE is launching soon outside of the US. It has been speculated that this will start next week. Matthews will be doing a few minute WWE news update for the service.

WWE’s stock closed at $18.54 Friday, one of the highest closing numbers in many years. For those that have asked, Vince McMahon is back to being a real life billionaire and not just a fictional storyline billionaire.
