Sky in Italy has launched WWE 24/7 as a part-time PPV show airing three days a week.
Nearly everyone in WWE will be in Chicago for WrestleMania 22. Today’s news conference is scheduled at Noon at the Chicago Theater with HHH, Cena, Michaels, Stratus, Candice, Coachman, Michael Cole, Angle, Orton, Mysterio, Benoit, Edge, Booker, Sharmell, Mark Henry and JBL. Later at 6pm at the House of Blues features the annual THQ videogame challenge with 16 wrestlers featuring the king of videogames, Shelton Benjamin.
Chris Benoit has an autograph session at 4:30pm at Popeye’s in Round Lake Beach, while Triple H is signing his book at Tower Records in Bloomingdale at 7pm. Matt Hardy, Victoria and Gregory Helms have an autograph session at Chicago Cycle in Skokie at 7pm. Lots of media will also be there.
Trish Stratus’ photo was featured in the Sun-Times yesterday and Candice Michelle was in today. Maria and Big Show were on the WGN Morning News with Show joking about himself, saying he’s got the only action figure with a fat stomach. Show said Carlito and Masters will be stars some day.
