“Dancing” Draws Huge Rating, More On Stacy’s Performance

The season premiere of “Dancing With The Stars” scored a 11.4 fast national rating according to Nielsen Media Research, proving that its success over the summer was not a one-time thing.

Having ranked fourth on the judges’ scorecard, WWE Diva Stacy Keibler will have no problem advancing to next week’s round. Helping her cause is the fact that WWE.com has tapped into the powerful online wrestling community by asking its website viewers, whether they saw the show or not, to vote for Keibler. Fan votes represent fifty percent of a contestant’s score.

The Diva’s introductory vignette heavily pushed her as an in-ring wrestler, ignoring the fact that she’s actually an on-air personality who occasionally works short matches. Much of the hype was also dedicated to her forty-two inch legs and general beauty; her dance partner remarked that he was stunned after his first meeting with the contestant.

Feedback from reality show message board users has also been strong. Her looks, figure (particularly her legs and abs) and dancing ability received overwhelming praise from “Dancing” viewers.

Keibler’s dress, however, did receive a negative Internet reaction.
