As reported on TNAWrestlingNews.com, Jeff Hardy was not backstage at last week’s iMPACT! tapings in Orlando, FL. He was also a no-show for the PPV. According to a FORUM POSTER for Hardy’s website, Jeff sent a text message to TNA regarding the Turning Point PPV claiming that he overslept and missed his flight. Take that for what it’s worth but he has not and will not be released from the company.
There was talk of bringing back a Team Mexico stable within TNA although many of the best Mexican stars work for CMLL which is the rival promotion of AAA, a promotion which Konnan helps book. CMLL has said they don’t want their talent working with Konnan or AAA so it could create an issue.
Konnan cut a backstage promo at the iMPACT! tapings last week for AAA featuring Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, AMW, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Sabu, and Sean Waltman.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Sean Waltman was found passed out by TNA at the Orlando Doubletree hotel which is where most of the wrestlers stay while in town. Waltman continues to attend all PPV events and there are still plans for him to return.
