– Although Joey Styles is committed to calling the next few weeks of RAW, by no means should one assume that he is definitely going to be replacing Jim Ross. Styles is known for being a very tough negotiator and is particularly infamous for being “bottom line” oriented when it comes to money. WWE sources believe that the chance of Styles being permanently signed is about 65%.
– While WWE will undoubtedly offer a renewal deal to prevent Paul Heyman from jumping to TNA when his contract expires, many believe the company will not match his present $250,000 salary.
Heyman, presently the lead booker in OVW, does seem to have post-WWE plans in place. In addition to showing interest in writing movie scripts, he has been telling friends that he has some sort of crossover idea involving MMA that could spark another ECW-like revolution of the pro wrestling industry.
