WWE, USA Wanted To Conceal RAW Rating, Paul Heyman

— WWE and USA sources reportedly worked hard to prevent this week’s RAW rating from making it to the media. The 3.4 rating, especially considering the advertising for Steve Austin, was considered terrible and proof that WWE – not its network home – is responsible for the declining ratings.

– As has been reported, many within the industry are keeping a close eye on the status of Paul Heyman’s WWE contract, which comes to an end this year. Even though Heyman fell out of favor with Stephanie McMahon, his work in Ohio Valley Wrestling and potential to significantly assist TNA might provide motivation for WWE to keep him around.
