Update On Kid Kash-WWE Issues, HBK, Angle, Batista

WWE.com has added a new edition of the Power 25 for this week. Those in the Top Five (in order) include World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Kurt Angle, WWE Champion John Cena, Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero.

Chris Cash sent in the following: Rumors of why Kid Kash’s website, www.kidkash.net, was taken down that have been circulating around the Internet are inaccurate. WWE did ask Kash to take his website down, but it was not due to the alledged audio file that was placed on his site. WWE simply asked Kash to take it down due to his involvement and future with the company. The audio file that reports are referring to was placed on the site well over a month ago when Kash first signed with the company and the comments he made about Chris Masters were taken out of context. The WWE office had not even heard of the file until it was mentioned on the ‘net as the reason Kash’s site was asked to be taken down. Kash wants it to be known that the controversial statements he may have made in the past were solely due to his unhappiness with TNA. He is very happy with his current status with WWE, they’re very happy with his efforts thus far, and he has absolutely no problems with Chris Masters or his ability. Kash had the following to say: “People need to realize that this is entertainment and sometimes things that I may say or do is apart of my character and my gimmick. Those reporting on the Internet should know that by now. It doesn’t reflect on who I am as a person or how I actually feel. Obviously, I must be doing a good job with my character if I can fool the entire ‘net”.

The 10/28 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown drew a 2.6 broadcast rating based on the fast nationals. This took UPN to a fifth place finish overall among the top six networks.
