Well I was in attendance Monday night at WWE Raw in Waco and I must say, live it was a great show. There were not many people there and I blame that on the amount of time they had to advertise for the show. They only had about two and a half weeks to advertise the live RAW broadcast. Half the arena on the camera side was tarped off..
I’m not sure which of the following will be on Heat and which ones wont because they didn’t tell use which ones would be but here are the following matches before RAW.
Danny Basham defeated some local jobber. They announced him to be from Waco but Waco doesn’t have any wrestling schools, so I doubt that part was true but he got some good baby face cheers.
Heart Throbs defeated Hurricane & Rosey.
Matt Hardy defeated another no name
Matt Stryker defeated another no name. He looked sort of like a Rough New Yorker. After the match he threw a fit in the ring like Christian used to do.
I was about fifth row so I had a pretty good seat for the show. Vince got a huge ovation.
John Cena without a doubt got the biggest POP of the night.
During a commercial break, Chris Masters challenged somebody in the crowd to a Master Lock Challenge but then backed out right before they came back live from commercials.
Television does not do justice for Lillian Garcia. OH MY GOD she was hot. She threw us t-shirts during commercials.
Also I don’t think it showed it on TV but when Kerwin White was trying to back his golf cart up the ramp, he accidentally put it in drive and rammed it into the ring. Then went up the ramp.
After RAW went off the air, Masters, Carlito, Kurt, & Bischoff ganged up on Cena. Masters and Carlito set up another table inside the ring and attempted to put Cena through it but Big Show came out and cleaned house. He then put Chris Masters through a table. Crowd went nuts for this.
Big Show helped Cena to his feet and Show, Cena, & HBK posed for the crowd for a little bit. Lillian then told us to give a warm Waco ovation for Carlito and Masters, which of course got them some major heat. Then, she thanked us for coming and that was about it.
All in all an electric show in person.
