In the arena:

The music of Shawn Michaels hit in the arena as Todd Grisham introduced him to the stage area. Grisham took us to footage from last week on RAW and the Master Lock Challenge. Grisham asked him his thoughts for Unforgiven. Michaels said there is a part of him that wants to get upset, and there is a part that says what was he thinking? He said no one has broken the Master Lock, so what does he do? He sits in a chair and lets him put his best hold on him, and the money was nowhere to be seen, which Masters usually offers to people. The question is, why’d he do that?! He said he did it because he is a Heart Break Kid, and whether he is right or wrong, he thinks he is untouchable. He said that makes him different and sets him apart from everyone else, and Chris Masters, that’s why you picked Shawn Michaels. He said the idea of at Unforgiven, he is going to have the opportunity to step into the ring with the Showstopper, but that wasn’t enough for him, so he decided to take it too far, and that was his big mistake. He said that he became famous for taking things one step too far, and at Unforgiven, he will find out why. Michaels said Masters will have his hands full tonight…and then some woo’s filled the arena as Flair came out in his robe. Flair said Masters will have his hands full with him, and Flair said he has felt the Master Lock, but tonight, can Masters go head up with the dirtiest player in the game? Flair said he hopes Carlito is watching, because at Unforgiven, for the first time, the Nature Boy will become the Intercontinental Champion! Woo! Michaels asked Masters how he will put on the Master Lock at Unforgiven when he is chewing on boot leather from some Sweet Chin Music!
