Hurricane Helping Victims, Heidenreich News, More

From WWE.com: Thank you, WWE fans! Americares and WWE would like to thank WWE fans for their continued and generous support of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Last Saturday, WWE.com was the third highest Web site in terms of referrals behind Google.com and Yahoo.com. Thus far, Americares has received more than $5 million in donations, and more than 43 tons of relief supplies have been shipped to the affected areas.

WWE.com has an article noting that John Heidenreich is in Mobile, Alabama and has seen some of the damage from Hurricane Katrina. “It seems like every tree, every telephone pole and every power line is down” he said. “What I’ve seen so far is hard to believe, it’s almost like it’s out of a movie,” Heidenreich said. “And I haven’t even seen the worst of it yet. We went by a row of mobile homes, and it was like they were aluminum cans that someone just crushed with their feet.” John is headed right into New Orleans today. Visit WWE.com for more.

Also on WWE.com there is an article noting that The Hurricane went a shelter at the Charlotte Coliseum. He told WWE.com “The victims’ spirits were shockingly a lot higher than I expected. They were all very grateful to have survived the storm, and now they are being provided with warm food, clothing and first aid.” To read the full article, visit WWE.com.
