Conflicting Reports On Recent WWE Release

Brian Cantor

In a press interview this week, Frankie Kazarian confirmed the story that he requested his release from World Wrestling Entertainment. Kazarian cited a lot of reasons for his decision to leave, including poor utilization by creative and the request that he cut his hair. From all indications, Kazarian was just not happy with the entire WWE atmosphere.

However, PWTorch.com reports that Frankie Kazarian was fired by WWE; he did not quit. The story going around is that Vince McMahon was very upset that Frankie Kazarian turned down both the suggestion to cut his hair and an idea for a new gimmick and decided to have the wrestler released.

While one cannot positively deny the validity of Kazarian’s claims, at this point, the idea that he was the only party responsible for initiating the release is not believed to be accurate.
