Backstage News On Paul Heyman, More “Hardcore” Reunions

– According to PWInsider.com, Shane Douglas is in the process of finalizing dates to take “Hardcore Homecoming” on the road this fall. The prospective markets include Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Florida, Buffalo and Poughkeepsie; fans will get to vote on venues soon via a poll on the official website.

There was originally talk of running several shows in New York on the weekend of 8/20, but nothing materialized. At this point, the plan is to get the show on the road in late September or October.

– Paul Heyman is receiving a great deal of praise for his work as head booker for Ohio Valley Wrestling, with the PWTorch.com Newsletter reporting that he’s already greatly improved lockerroom morale. Heyman is said to be less controlling and more interested in wrestler input than Jim Cornette, which is ultimately leading to a happier and more respectable roster.
