– A commercial this week in the North Charleston, SC area promoted an upcoming SmackDown! house show with the following matches: Muhammad Hassan vs. Batista for the World Title, and Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit. Obviously the first match is going to be changed now.
– A group of women protested outside of yesterday’s SmackDown! brand house show, and the story was picked up by WCAX TV in Burlington, VT. Their protest was over the fact that wrestling shows “desensitize children to violence, and promote bullying and violence against women”.
– Roddy Piper is scheduled for an appearance on TSN’s Off The Record on August 09. His appearance is part of their “Best of OTR” week.
