In the latest update to the JBL/Meanie/Smothers saga, Outlaw Championship Wrestling reportedly invited JBL to attend its show on July 24. Not surprisingly, said show is headlined by Tracy Smothers vs. The Blue Meanie.
The group reportedly informed WWE that they would be willing to pay for JBL’s airfare and expenses if WWE would grant him permission to appear at the show. No response was returned by WWE management.
After JBL reportedly attacked Blue Meanie at the ECW PPV last month, Tracy Smothers escalated the situation by challenging Bradshaw to a shoot fight. WWE has since attempted to blur the distinction between fantasy and reality by covering the Meanie/JBL situation on its website.
