IPW:UK News: Injury Updates From Sunday’s Show

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

  • Best of British 2 Injury Update

» Andy Boy Simmonz was checked over by a medical crew after Sunday night’s show, suffering with a minor concussion after sustaining a beating at the hands of Team Charming’s Jack Storm (via the usage of a solid steel chain). Simmonz was said to be irate at the interference of Martin Stone’s stable-mates and was heard saying that Martin can’t win any fight fair. Andy has vowed to at some point earn a rematch with “The Enforcer” on a future IPW:UK card.

» Tony Sefton sustained further damage to his ankle after becoming involved in Spud’s match against Jack Storm. Sefton attempted a one legged Star-Sault onto Jack but damaged his ankle on impact and was then subjected to a beating by Team Charming after the match had ended. Tony is due to visit a specialist this week to determine if he can make IPW:UK’s next show which is tentatively scheduled for July.

  • Martin Stone vs. Stevie Douglas – IPW:UK Title… NEXT SHOW!!!

» After defeating Aviv Mayaan last night at BOB2, Stevie Douglas not only took Aviv Mayaan’s Best of British Highflyer moniker, but also his number one contendership to the IPW:UK title.

Martin Stone became the second number one contender to the belt yesterday after winning the BOB: Heavyweights match in an epic contest which ended with Martin Stone making Andy “Boy” Simmonz pass out to the STF.

Both men are 100% confirmed to be the first two competitors to face each other for the IPW:UK Title at the next show which is yet to be confirmed by IPW management – stay tuned in the coming few days for a big announcement about that.

However whoever wins that belt will be facing some stiff competition from Aviv Mayaan who vowed to be the first #1 contender to the belt no matter what, we’ve heard rumours of Aviv Mayaan planning up some sort of huge Number one contenders match for the next show – more on that when we find out more.
