  • Zebra Kid To Take Final Spot In BOB2 Main Event

» Top British talent The Zebra Kid has become the latest and final competitor to enter in the Best of British: Heavyweights match!

Zebra, who can be currently seen regularly in his home promotion WAW as well as in the FWA, Premier Promotions and many more, is currently known as one of the toughest competitors in the wrestling business today. Trained by his own father, “Rowdy” Ricky Knight, Zebra has promised to hold nothing back and defeat fellow confirmed competitors “The Enforcer” Martin Stone, James Tighe and anybody else put in his path, in order to become the second number one contender to the IPW:UK title!

“Charming” Don Charles, the manager of Martin Stone, is said to be irate at the inclusion of The Zebra Kid into the match. Charles – who is still nursing a massive face wound after becoming a recipient of a Samoa Joe bootscrape at the last show – is afraid that Zebra will not only unleash his fury on Stone but also him.

James Tighe has also sent word to the IPW:UK offices that he is fit, confident and ready to fight on May 22nd and has even gone so far as to start negotiations for further bookings within the company!

  • Spud: Signed And Confirmed, But Still No Match?

» Spud is officially confirmed for IPW:UK Best of British 2, but at the time of press there are still no opponent(s) for the Brummie brawler!

Spud asked to be included into the Tony Sefton/Jack Storm rematch, but had his request denied due to the current delicate situation between himself and Storm. Jack attacked his former friend at the last IPW:UK show with a brutal cradle piledriver that left the already concussed Spud with further head injuries. IPW:UK management agreed that was for the best to let the situation simmer down for a while before letting the two men go at it on a future show.

    In Other News:

    — We apologise for the small downtime on the IPW:UK website this week. This was caused by a yearly change in server, and has now been rectified.

    — Tarquin Bayle, business manager to the ‘New Superstar’ Stevie Douglas, has been telling people around him that even though his attempts to change the stipulation of the Ladder match at BOB2 have failed, he still has some aces up his sleeve which he will be using to some effect come show time.

    — Due to an unfortunate injury to the shoulder of Jamie James, Team Sexay have had to withdraw from the May 22nd event, but have vowed to return to IPW when both members are fully fit.

  • Therefore the current card stands as:
