Former ECW Champion Masato Tanaka, via an announcement in Japan, has confirmed an appearance at the ECW ‘One Night Stand’ PPV.
After defeating Mike Awesome, Tanaka won the title in December 1999. His reign came to an abrupt end when Awesome won the belt back just a few days later.
Tanaka also held the ECW tag titles with Balls Mahoney and Tommy Dreamer.
