WWE Raiding TNA?; Update On Waltman, Brown, & More

[Source: Torch Newsletter]

— Monty Brown isn’t happy at all about working with Trytan (Ryan Wilson), as he knows Trytan can’t carry a good match with him and doesn’t know why the office would risk exposing him in that planned feud.

— Right now TNA is planning to introduce Sean Waltman to TV after Sunday’s PPV. He isn’t scheduled to be a part of this Sunday’s PPV, so TNA didn’t want to draw away attention from the wrestlers who are on the PPV. Observers say that Waltman has been coming along well in his healing from the relationship with Joanie Laurer and his substance abuse. Sean Waltman is slated to be part of a six-man main event tag team match at TNA’s April PPV.

— There is major concern in some circles within TNA that WWE is waiting to raid them of most of their top X Division talent throughout the year, including AJ Styles. WWE does sense that TNA has potential to be competition at this point. Styles is most likely going to go anywhere that the money is, in the best interest of his family. So, TNA will have to probably match any offer made by WWE to keep him. Many feel that TNA uses the X Division talent much better than WWE could ever use them, and gives them more TV & PPV time than WWE could give them.
