PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

  • Chav’s To Invade Orpington… After Being Sanctioned

» After the debut of the Chav Army, headed by Darren Burridge and Flaming Red at the Best of British 1 back in January, the group are set to make a return.

It was confirmed last week that Travell and Red, who have been at loggerheads for months now, would collide. Today it has been confirmed that it will be a tag team contest. As Darren Burridge cannot make the show on March 20th, a sign Travell has taken as the Pucka one ducking him, both men have requested their partners not be revealed until the day. So as it stands, it is Paul Travell/Mystery Partner vs. The Chav Army (Flaming Red/Mystery Partner).

  • First Chance Four Way Announced

» After announcing last week that youngster Paul Robinson will be making his IPW:UK debut at Return of the Dragon, it can now be confirmed that there will be a first chance fatal four way at ROTD.

For one man, however, it will not be a first chance, but infact his fourth IPW:UK appearance in one form or another. Andy Boy Simmonz, wrestling for the first time as advertised with his new moniker in IPW, is the first man in the match and the clear favorite in terms of experience, and the man that IPW:UK officials decided to use as a standard test for the other three participants.

The second man, whom we just mentioned, is youngster Paul Robinson. The Dropkixx trained high-flyer impressed after various outings including Dropkixx’s own shows, and LDN Wrestling’s debut event.

The third man will be one that fans of CSF and RAMWA will certainally remember, Kris Linnell. One of the three making their IPW:UK debuts, this young Londoner matched up against ‘The Enforcer’ Martin Stone in his RAMWA debut, losing a hard fought contest only after the involvement of a cricket bat of all objects. Looking to now create his own path in IPW:UK, Linnell is the third man signed for this First Chance Four Way.

Fourth and finally, there is a still open position. There is legitimately no fourth man, IPW:UK officials are leaving this open to interest until early next week. If you are a budding UK wrestler and want to take this opertunity to take the position, simply email in to danieledler@hotmail.com.

    In Other News:

    — In the final update, IPW:UK management will reveal Super Dragon’s groundbreaking stipulation. Due to Dragon being the man going into this event as the current IPW:UK Progressional Tournament crowd holder, he was given a deadline extension on his final choice for stipulation, but will have to have submitted it by the time this goes to press.

    — And finally, Derek Burgan over at PWTorch.com recently reviewed both IPW:UK’s debut show, “Extreme Measures” (ft. Super Dragon, Colt Cabana, Jonny Storm and many IPW regulars) and also our second outing, “Show 2!” (ft. Robbie Brookside, Sexxxy Eddy, Phil Powers and many IPW regulars). Both received excellent reviews as has been the trend with both shows, and the full reviews (including screencaps) can be found here: http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/publish/article_12234.shtml.
