What You Didn’t See On RAW Last Night

Dark/Heat Match

Chris Masters d. “Textbook” Tyson Dux

I was glad to see Tyson Moodie again. The crowd reacted pretty strong to Masters (as a heel), probably because it was the first match of the night.

Heat

Rhyno d. Steven Richards

Tajiri d. Some guy….I think his last name was Storm

Simon Dean d. Val Venis

Before the Simon Match, he tried to convince Christy to take his weight loss stuff, and even called her “Krusty”. Val made the save leading to the match.

RAW Notes

After RAW went off the air, Kane got to his feet and there was a NASTY cut on the top of his head, which looked legit. Even though people turned on Kane after he chokeslammed Trish, they gave him an ovation when he got up.

The post-RAW match was Benoit/Jericho/Orton vs. HHH/Batista/Edge. It was a lot of comedy stuff. The heels kept trying to tag out to avoid fighting

Jericho and Benoit. Edge almost left the match completely after a few chops. Orton won the match with an RKO on Triple H. Most of the crowd stayed for the match, less people left than I thought.

The crowd looked almost sold out, other than the section that was tarped off at the top, which was about 1/4 of the top section.

Batista got a moster pop. Orton got the same kind of pop he’s been getting. HHH got a mixed reaction. I was surprised at the reaction, or lack there of for Shelton Benjamin. They played his promo featuring the problems he had growing up before the show, as well as the Benoit desire video, and an updated WM desire video.

The crowd didnt react loudly to the Austin press conference thing, probably because no one knew what it meant. He did get a big pop during the Desire video.
