– Despite Jim Ross’ recent allusion to the Stinger Splash on RAW, there are no plans for Sting to debut with WWE. WWE and Steve ‘Sting’ Borden have not spoken seriously about a return in quite a while and the demand from both sides is hardly at a peak. With business down, it is unlikely WWE will offer Sting enough money to come out of his comfortable and cozy lifestyle to join WWE on the road, so while a short-term gig is possible, most do not expect Sting in WWE for a major role.
Although, we are told to “never say never” when it comes to WWE.
