TNA News: Dixie Carter Update, Impact! News; & More

– TNA President Dixie Carter has started answering fan questions on the TNAWrestling.com message board. Carter said in recent posts that TNA is looking into more primetime specials but that nothing is set. She said that TNA’s overall goal is to be on a major network competing against their “competitor.” TNA is hoping to get Impact on in Australia and in Canada in early 2005. They are considering running a PPV in Chicago soon. There has been talk of doing a TNA Magazine. She also said that TNA creative has wanted her to become an on-air character but she decided to stay behind the scenes.

– Impact ended up not airing Impact yesterday as advertised. The miscommunication regarding the time that the last episode of Impact would air was apparently FSN’s fault, not TNA.

– TNA’s Street Team will be handing out free tickets to their 1/16 Final Resolution PPV at the 1/9 WWE Smackdown house show in Orlando, Florida at the TD Waterhouse Arena.
