More On Rob Van Dam-Iraq & Big WrestleMania Rumors Circulating The ‘Net

As you know by now, Rob Van Dam didn’t go to Iraq for the SmackDown tapings and had told Vince McMahon and others prior to the event that he wasn’t going. It’s being reported that the reason that RVD refused to go was not because of political reasons or for his safety, it’s just that he needed some time off from his WWE schedule.

Jim Ross’ birthday is on January 3rd, which falls on a Monday. Ironically enough, RAW is on Mondays and that’s when Jim Ross will be involved in a debate with Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Davari. As reported here on the site over the weekend, Rumor is out that Steve Austin, Mick Foley and The Rock will be at WrestleMania 21 in some capacity. Hulk Hogan is also rumored to be at the show because he might be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Hogan will definitely be in the Hall of Fame one day, but it’s unsure when it will happen. As I said, I would only take this as a rumor for now and nothing more.
