– Although many details weren’t known at the time, it has become very clear to many that Stephanie McMahon was responsible for Paul Heyman being removed from the SmackDown writing team recently. It also didn’t help that Brian Gewirtz helped encourage the decision as he his considered a “yes man” to the McMahon’s. It should be noted that Vince McMahon put Heyman on the SmackDown writing team against Stephanie’s wishes. Those in favor of Heyman say she was basically looking for an excuse to remove him ever since he began to expose her writing team hires as unknowledgeable of the pro wrestling business in terms of writing techniques that has and hasn’t worked in the past.

– Ricky Steamboat recently finished up his three week tryout run with WWE as a backstage agent for both RAW and SmackDown. Steamboat is expected to be offered a full-time job very soon. The only reason it wouldn’t happen at this point is if Steamboat declines the offer.

– For those wondering, there have been no special precautions taken with Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari outside of arenas. At this point there are indications that fans are taking the gimmick too seriously (after all this is pro wrestling people), but many feel some may have to be thought out given the recent negative comments regarding the US troops fighting overseas.
