-If you have been watching RAW or SmackDown lately, you likely noticed that many of the losing Diva Search contestants have been brought back to the company in various roles. Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon were behind the idea. They follow the belief that sex appeal is needed to keep younger male fans interested in the product.

-Sales of the “Rise and Fall of ECW” DVD took a dive in its second week after being released. It went fast in the first week, likely to the old ECW fans, but sales died off quickly, one of the main reasons being that it was no where to be found by many who were looking for it.

-Lance Storm put a review of the “Rise and Fall of ECW” DVD on his site, StormWrestling.com. Of the DVD, Storm says, “I genuinely got choked up watching this DVD and for the first time since I retired from the ring, missed performing. ECW was a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad I was a part of it. ECW was a combination of an incredible creating force, a second to none dedication and work ethic, the most loyal enthusiastic fans the business has ever seen, and a special time and place in the industry that all came together to make ECW what it was; MAGIC. WCW put me on the map in this industry with my 3-Title Push, WWE gave me worldwide recognition and fame, but ECW made Lance Storm, and for that I will always be grateful. I became a performer in ECW, cut my first decent promo in ECW, became a booker and fell in love with the creative process in ECW. When I look back on my 14-year career, ECW is the highlight, and no one else even comes close.”
