More On WWE To USA Network, Ric Flair-Iraq Bombs; & More

* It appears that UPN and Spike TV’s parent company, Viacom, is preparing to do business after likely losing the WWE programming as the WWE has not had a presence at recent UPN and Spike TV publicity events. Although the negotiations are still taking place between WWE and Viacom, the USA Network is also interested and is in a good position to take over programming rights from Viacom.

* At the WWE’s recent trip to Iraq to visit US troops, Ric Flair was the center of attention. Soldiers treated him like royalty with some even offering him medals. Flair signed bombs and gave out autographs. Others on the Iraq trip were Lita, Chris Benoit, Trish Stratus, Hurricane, and Val Venis.
