James made it clear that his team, the 3 Live Kru, were always playing “second fiddle” to America’s Most Wanted in how they were portrayed in storylines. He used examples of AMW getting more promos, video packages and overall perks as a way to back up his claims. James then reportedly got in the face of James Storm and told him to change the way he conducts himself backstage, using Storm blowing off Shane Douglas recently as an example when Douglas was planning out the finish of AMW’s match against Triple X at Victory Road. Following this, James reportedly told both members of AMW that they were overpushed and overrated, labeling them as Bob Ryder’s “fluff boys.”
James made it clear that he didn’t care if he was fired over him speaking his mind as he said he would rather work for Wal-Mart if they would react to his outburst in such a serious way. James then met with Jeff Jarrett later to talk out his differences. Soon afterwards, many TNA wrestlers thanked him for speaking his mind and saying things many wanted to say for a long time. It should be noted that James later apologized to both Harris and Storm, but informed them that they were very unpopular with other workers in the company.
On a side note, during B.G. James’ tyraid on Nov. 9, Konnan and Raven had a bit of an altercation. Reports say the tension had been building for some time. Konnan considers Raven a prima donna, which Raven doesn’t appreciate. After Konnan got backstage following his match, Raven was at the gorilla position with Jerry Jarrett. Konnan bumped into Raven, and Raven in turn shoved Konnan. Christopher Daniels of Triple X held back Konnan along with Monty Brown, while Raven taunted him by flipping him off.
