Backstage Details Behind Tough Enough Competition

– For those wondering, the Tough Enough contestants are not told anything about what is planned for them before they get to the site of the SmackDown tapings every Tuesday. In addition, they aren’t told much when they get to the show either until seconds before they go on camera. None had any idea the Big Show was coming down to the ring to bodyslam them in the first week and didn’t know Kurt Angle was coming out to the ring the second week as well. Some were given a hint about the Mae Young incident on the program last week, but weren’t told any specific details until they were in the ring.

– Bill DeMott joined Al Snow (head of Tough Enough training) during the second week of training at Traxx. According to reports, all contestants are said to be getting along very well with each other despite the fact that they are all competing for the same prize. Mike “The Miz” Mizanin of MTV fame wrote on his official website that training was hard over the past four days in a row (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and that he was surprised to see how well everyone was getting along.
