USA Looking To Snatch RAW From Spike TV

Thanks to TVFrenzy.com:

USA is set to become one of the final cable networks to establish a clear brand image. Unlike most cable networks who look to reestablish themselves, USA has no need to do so – it’s doing its strongest ratings in years.

Branding the network won’t be easy, however, due to the network’s diverse range of programming. From “Nashville Star” to “The 4400” to “Monk,” the network is hardly consistent.

One of the most important interests of the “new” USA is bringing back WWE RAW, its former flagship program that left for TNN (now Spike TV) a few years ago. WWE RAW is heavily negotiating to keep it on Spike TV, but is considering NBCUniversal’s cable network as well.

USA is also looking to seize the rights to Sunday Night NFL.
