Survivor Series Notes: Taker/Heidenreich; Orton, & More

Even though there was talk of running a rather short, somewhat one-sided Undertaker-Heidenreich match, the decision was ultimately made to portray Heidenreich as a somewhat credible challenger by allowing him to have some key offense in their fifteen minute encounter.

As talked about over the weekend, the idea for the RAW Elimination finish was to increase fan anticipation for the eventual Orton vs. HHH title match that will definitely happen (likely at Mania) despite the current stipulation on Orton. As far as the short-term is concerned, it is likely that the three other members of Orton’s team will all book a shot against HHH when they have control of RAW, only for HHH ultimately to survive and regain momentum after tonight’s loss.
