Wrestlers Upset With Nash; DDP/Brown, & More

[Source: PWInsider]

– Apparently there was a couple wrestlers backstage that were upset with Kevin Nash’s promo during the opening segment of Impact. They felt that Nash took too long with his promo, and that caused a number of segments to be cut from the show, due to time constraints. BG James was said to have been vocal about the situation, and apparently he was throwing the NWA Tag Team championship belt for emphasis.

– Michael Shane was said to be very angry that a promo he filmed was not aired on the show, it was cut due to Nash’s long promo at the first. He apparently yelled at Bob Ryder backstage, and was frustrated because the promo took ten takes to film, and they aren’t using it.

– Many backstage noticed that when Monty Brown won his match at Impact, during the same segment that featured the debut of DDP, that all of the focus was on DDP. Even the ring announcer Jeremy Borash asked the crowd to “welcome the newest member of TNA”. Brown was trying hard to get the crowd to pop, but everyone’s attention was on DDP.
